OK-GO research

OK GO is an American rock band originally from Chicago, now based in Los Angeles. The band is known for its quirky and elaborate music videos which contain Rube Goldberg machines, zero-gravity flights, cars creating music, and optical illusions, which are often filmed in one take. As well as their incredible music videos the songs are very catchy and a good listen. Their use of found objects, particularly in the song ‘Needing/Getting,’ was certainly something that inspired me to create this musical bathtub. And whilst their music was made using a car, lots of land, and hundreds of pots and pans, and mine was made with a bathtub and some spray paint, the basic concept of making noise, and having fun whilst doing it, remains the same. I would highly recommend checking out their videos, they're just wild and mind bending.
